Elizabeth Hopkins Mgmt 301 December 19, 2010 Business Etiquette I was in the waiting room getting ready to interview for my first full time position as a customer service representative at a call center. There was one interview before me and when I saw the interviewee come out, she was wearing pajamas. Most people might think that is ridiculous and everyone should know that you can not wear pajamas for an interview. This is an example of business etiquette. As defined by www.selfgrowth.com , etiquette is a code that governs the expectations of social behavior, according to the contemporary coventional norm within a society, social class, or group. Business etiquette is the etiquette that is involved in business settings. I am not sure why she chose to wear pajamas to her interview, but needless to say, in my training class, she was not one of the twelve individuals selected. During my time of employment at this company, we had many team building activities that we took part in outside of work. In almost all settings,
