ACCT 361: Assignment #1 Traditional AIS Architecture (10 points) General Ledger and Spreadsheets Requirements The purpose of the assignment is to reinforce the traditional accounting cycle lecture and provide practice on the use  (and limit) of spreadsheets in financial reporting.  The objective of the assignment, however, is to understand how  reports are programmed .  That is, only the underlying data changes from period to period, not the reporting function.  An Excel template has been prepared to provide an efficient means of reducing the time and effort involved in  completing spreadsheets, but maintaining the purpose of the assignment.  All formulas have been computed with the  exception of a few formulas described below.  You may want to print this page to use while working on the  spreadsheets.   Retrieve the GL Excel spreadsheet from the course site in the assignments folder. Do  not  work on the file within your  browser.  Save it to your desktop or flash drive.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

I cannot even describe how much Course Hero helped me this summer. It’s truly become something I can always rely on and help me. In the end, I was not only able to survive summer classes, but I was able to thrive thanks to Course Hero.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
