In this story Cathedral the narrator talks about one such experience, when he meets the the blind man. It is interesting to see how the excerpt makes one think like the narrator, this detached feeling of emotional emptiness, his point of view about the blind man all changes with a sudden revelation. Analyzing the text, its important to understand if this prophecy reasonable? Thus, this essay will explore the dynamic character of the narrator throughout the excerpt and how does this affect the storys action. At the very beginning of the story, the narrator relates about his feelings about the blind man visiting them. It seems from the tone of the narrator that he was not very happy about it.
