Course Goals This course is an overview on the science involved in the study of the Sun, other stars in general, galaxies, and the universe. The goal is to show you how science works and excite you of how the development of key ideas has profoundly changed our vision of the universe and our place in it. Lectures The lectures are intended to promote discussion and stimulate interest, they complement the course text, and material not present on the textbook may be included.
