XHTML: Case Studies Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) 1. What does code “tentatively passed-1 Warning(s)” validation mean? Ans : This error means that the Xhtml code does not have character encoding. None of the standards sources gave any information on the character encoding labeling for this document. Without encoding information it is impossible to reliably validate the document. This error is addressed in XHTML Case Study 1. Refer to pages 36-37 in XHTML Case Study 1 document. 2.
