Goal: The goal of this course will be to survey and introduce the basic areas of psychology. My motive in teaching this course is to "whet your appetite" for future in-depth study of more specific areas in Psychology. This will be accomplished through my lectures and through your class participation. As the days of this course elapse, you will find the class much more intriguing if you keep up with the chapter(s) in the text that are pertinent to the class lecture. Further, because you will be tested on both lecture and text material, keeping up with the readings will enhance your chances of obtaining high grades on the exams. Requirements: The primary requirement for this course is a set of three (50 question, 2 points per question) multiple-choice exams, given on February 7, March 25, and in May during Finals Week. An unexcused absence from an exam is N.G. It will result in a grade of "F" being recorded for that particular exam. Grades will be posted on the WebCT.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
