Course Syllabus CS 235 – Spring 2008 Grading Criteria Course grades are available to students by logging into Blackboard Vista or meeting with the course instructor. Grades will never be distributed in class, by email or over the telephone. Your course grade will be determined by the combined weight of five components: Qty Description Weight 14 Lab Prep Exercises 10% 14 Lab Assignments 20% 5 Lab Quizzes 20% 9-12 Lecture Quizzes 10% 2 Lecture Exams 25% 1 Comprehensive Final 15% TOTAL 100% Course Information Availability All relevant course information, assignments, downloads and changes will be made available on Blackboard Vista during the course of the semester. You should make it a habit to check with the course site regularly. In the event of a major campus emergency, course requirements, deadlines and grading percentages are subject to change based on a reduced or modified number of individual assignments.
