Andrea Zarins Nathan Abrahamson Bio 203L Wednesday 2-4:50 Laboratory Techniques Homework (H1–5 pts) Due next lab (Aug 29 th -Sept 1 st , 2005) Using your data from class and the Graphing instructions, you will create a histogram and a line graph on Excel. Excel Graphing Instructions can be found on the lab website under “Useful Links.” Both graphs MUST be computer generated and stapled to the back of this handout. Then complete the chi square and the metric conversions. ALL Graphs MUST include: - A descriptive title - Labels for the X and Y axes - Axis units - If there are multiple lines of data, a legend is necessary 1. Natural Variation in Stripes on Sunflower Seed (1 pt) - Create a histogram with the data you collected from counting stripes on sunflower seeds. - Do not forget to include your data in a table. See Graph 1 (attached) 2. Natural Variation in Square Size (2 pts) - Create a multi line graph with the data below. - This graph should contain 3 lines:
