Brendan O’Neal MAN 6601 DN01-6 Political Drivers (Due 10/24) - Describe in detail the "Political" forces affecting global management. The political forces of a nation affect global management; elements of the nation’s political climate directly impact the way that a multi-national organization is run (Ball, et. al., 2010). Management does not have any direct influence over the way this external force impacts the organization, though it may have some influence through lobbying for a change in the country’s current law; an organization may also find positive outcomes through heavy marketing a product that could change the culture’s attitude (Ball, et. al., 2010). Some of the elements of the political forces that drive global management include ecological and environmental issues, current legislation, future legislation, international legislation, regulatory bodies and their processes, government policies, trading policies, funding, grants, lobbying groups, international groups, wars, conflicts, and others.
