International strategy is an organization’s strategy that reflects its plan to remain competitive and profitable throughout its market (domestically and internationally). International strategy is how a firm makes its decisions regarding the use of its resources, how it is to offer or sell its goods and services, what markets to enter, how to enter these markets, how to expand its business and scope while maintaining and increasing its effectiveness and profitability, how to manage its supply chain in each respective location, and other operational procedures that are imperative to its success in each market that it has penetrated (Ball, et. al., 2010).
