1 Research Methodology Mid-term Examination (Research Examination) Dr. D. Forrer Instructions: You are to complete this exam without help from others, with the exception of any of the librarians at Hodges. While they will not complete the work for you, they can help with explanations. I recommend that you use an electronic form of the exam and fill in the answers within this document. To search the business databases, log in to your MyHugo account, select MyTeamSites, then select Library. Then click on “Get Help With Research” in the center of the library home page. Go to the Library Business Guide. Part # 1: ABI Inform Database Click on ABI Inform. Then click on “Select Multiple Databases” and click on all three ABI Inform databases and “Continue”. Type “Chico’s FAS” in the search box and click on the full-text box below it. Notice the different tabs that provide subdivisions of the search results: scholarly journals, magazine, trade magazines, and newspapers. Question #1: In a paragraph, describe the difference between the kinds of sources in each tab. Question #2: List three results that provide up-to-date data on how well the company is performing financially. Read these three sources and, in a paragraph, summarize the results. Do all of the sources agree with each other? Part #2:
