Executing is the process of carrying out the commands 5. Storing means writing the result to memory. 2. What is a dual-core processor? Is a dual-core processor twice as fast as a single core? Explain why or why not? Answer:  A dual-core processor is a single chip that contains two separate processors. A multi-core processor has a chip with two or more separate processors. Performance of a multi-core processor increases when running multiple programs simultaneously. Multi-core processors are energy-efficient and use less power per core. 3. What are the coding schemes used for data representation? What is the significance of Unicode?
