1). Define the terms “input” and “data”. What are the various forms of instructions? Explain briefly. Answer: input is any data and instructions entered into the memory of a computer, and data is a collection of unprocessed text, numbers, images, audio, and video. Once data is in memory, the computer interprets and executes instructions to process the data into information. A program is a series of instructions that tells a computer what to do and how to do it. When a programmer writes a program, he or she enters the program into the computer by using a keyboard, mouse, or other input device. Programs respond to commands that a user issue. A command is a instruction that causes a program to perform a specific action. A user response is an instruction a user issues by replying to a question displayed by a program. 2. Give an example of a controller for a media player and describe its function. List the various kinds of gaming controllers. Answer:
