Purpose: In this experiment, we are studying the transverse wave. From the concept of transverse and standing wave, we derive an equation that includes the n-quantized number proportional to the inverse of the hanging object. We can also find the gravity from that equation and compare it with the standing value. Equipment : Empire 25’ Power Tape #001016, String, Stand, Vibrator 120HZ, Weights, Pulley, hook. Procedures: 1. Setting up the pulley on one end of the table and vibrator on the other end. 2. Connect the string between the pulley and the vibrator 3. Connect the hook on the end of string of the pulley 4. Measuring the length between the pulley and the vibrator 5. Cutting a piece from the string and measuring its length and mass, so that we can get it density µ, deriving its length by mass. Data:
