Assignment 4 Introduction Brazilian Bossa Nova  we are to look at Manha De Carnival by Sigman and Bonfa , which is arguably one of the most popular Brazilian pieces in the  repertoire . This musical piece can be said to contain jazzy features , with the help of heavy rhythm and drums , the musical piece is able to  create a base rhythm . Although , this piece does not entirely rely on the  said instrument , but it also makes use of other instruments to make sure  that the whole piece retains its harmony , instruments such as the  banduria , piano and saxophone . When listening to this musical piece we  can 't help but think of two lovers dancing at a slow pace with moves  that increases in pace at certain points in time as if doing a Venetian  Waltz , if not , the song gives us great rhythm and tone which is perfect  for Salsa . The form of this song is quite strange , but the melody in phrase may be
