1. Calculate the percentile rank for your individual scores for both the BMI and the 1 Rep Max.

3. Calculate the z and T scores for a 1 Rep Max of 95 pounds.
Z= (95125.5)/83.1
=0.37
T= 10(.37) + 50
= 46.3
4. Calculate standard scores (the zscore and the T score) for your scores on both the 1 Rep Max
and BMI (formulas are on page 43 of your text).

Z= (1923.21)/ 3.3
= 1.3
T= 10(1.3) + 50
=37
1 Rep Max Z= (65125.5)/ 83.1
= 0.73
T= 10(.73) + 50
= 42.7
5. Calculate the z score and the T score for your 1 Rep Max score using the class mean from
another year, which is given below.
Compare your standard score in the current data set to the
standard score for the other year.
What conclusions can you draw by comparing those two
scores?
