(1) What is the main difference between primitive and differentiated meteorites? Which meteorites provide the best information about the materials in our early Solar System? When the proto-planet Earth was accreting, collisions may have knocked some material away from it. Would meteorites made from this material be considered primitive or differentiated? (2) Asteroids: What is the “Titius-Bode Law”? What does it predict about the Planets? How did its prediction fail between Mars and Jupiter? What might have caused this failure?
