Unformatted text preview: Communication Importance of Communication By: Tyeshia Moore Principle of Management Professor Ruth Essler As we have learned this week communication is very important in running a successful business. Managers and owners alike need to be successful in all areas stemming from communicating with vendors to employees and customers. Jim Ron once said, "If you just communicate you can get by. But if you skillfully communicate, you can work miracles." Networking is a very important aspect in making a business or an individual successful in anything that they endeavor in because of the connections with people that are formed. A network simply put is a system of connections that are put in place by befriending and going above the call of duty to help someone and gaining the chance to possibly be able to call on them later for support and help to reach a desired position. I would say that I begin networking as early as high school in meeting lifelong friends and then going on to college. I befriended school department heads or school administrators in my previous university in the process of obtaining my degree. I believe that it is very important that people mass a strong network because people that you already know can introduce you and open the door to the person that you need to know...
