Observations In high school, I was not exactly popular with girls. I was shy and I did not how to this about me. So I observed how other boys that had girlfriends. I did not just watch one guy, I watch quite a few of them to figure out what to change about myself. I built a theory that most girls wanted guys that was confident, not shy, looked sharp and surprisingly enough social status had nothing to do with it. From what I understand from my daughter that social status is everything now. Anyways, after I observed these things, I thought about what I could do to make myself more popular with the girls. Unformatted text preview: complimented by a few girls, I gained the confidence that I needed and started talking to girls that I thought were “way out of my league”. This actually worked. I got a girlfriend that was, in the past, to be above my standards. The theory that I told my friends was that if you are confident, have the ability to look different, and have the guts to start talking to some girls; you just might able to be popular with girls and possibly have a girlfriend that is “out of your league”....
