Terrestrial Resource Plan 2 Terrestrial Resource Plan Terrestrial resources can be found anywhere and everywhere. The terrestrial resource that is going to be present in this paper is solid waste. Solid waste could range from mining, agriculture, or even municipal solid waste. The problem with solid waste is that there is too much of it. One of the solutions to this problem is to reduce the amount of municipal solid waste by increasing recycling percentages. The only way that we do that is to teach people about recycling (Berg, 2006). This management and sustainment plan could help reduce the amount of municipal solid waste. The first step is going to take about a month and it is to do research about recycling and how to communicate that information to communities. The second step is to develop an

The third step is going to take place during the second step and that is finding locations to host these events. The last and final step is to host the programs at the places that we have found. The challenges that we are going to face are getting people to recycle. We want to teach the children of America the importance of recycling and the role it will play in their future. That is why we want to attend mostly schools to host our events. I figure if we hook them while their young we might have a better turn, just look what it did for the tobacco industry.
