3 Baseline phase  – acts as the control phase – this is the phase of repeated  measures before the intervention is introduced. The intervention phase  – analogous to the experimental phase – we look at  shifts in the trend or pattern of the data from baseline to intervention phases. N=1 We are using the logic of time series analysis.
