         DEFINITIONS Force  - any push or pull applied to an object. Mass  - the amount of material present in an             object. Weight  -the gravitational force acting on a               mass. Normal force (F n )  -the force that pushes               back when an object is on a surface.  Net Force (F net )  -the summation of all the                forces acting on an object. Inertia  - the natural tendency of an object to               remain at rest or stay in uniform               motion in a straight line.
