OPTIONS Freedom Freedom works best not when it pursues easy goals but when it seeks out ever more difficult ones . Freedom without responsibility leads to anarchy. Learning Learning is a process in which thought is its basic ingredient. Learning encompass information, knowledge , and wisdom. Let us always ponder on the notion that wisdom could be lost in knowledge and knowledge may shrink in information”. •“ A little learning is a dangerous thing ” Alexander Pope ; “Where is the person who has enough of it to be out of danger?” T. Engineering Design is the systematic, intelligent generation and evaluation of specifications for artifacts whose form and function achieve stated objectives and satisfy specified constraints …T h e problems that engineering design responds to are typically open-ended and underdefined , by which we mean that, respectively, there are usually many acceptable solutions to a design problem (so uniqueness does not apply); and solutions for design problems cannot normally be found by routinely applying a mathematical formula in a structured way.” C. Dym, Harvey Mud College. it is the process of design, in which diverse parts of the given world of the scientist and the made-world of the engineer are reformed and assembled into something the looks of which Nature had not dreamed, that divorces engineering from science and marries it to art
