CONTEST General rules 1. Vehicles MUST use the DC ELECTRIC MOTOR , CONTROL PCB , and a 12 VOLT BATTERY provided for each team. The battery will be fully charged on the day prior to the competition. 2. Vehicles MUST use the SHAFT that was analyzed and fabricated by the team at the AUB WORKSHOPS ONLY . 3. Vehicles MAY use any type of: TIRES , TRACKS , and GEARS .

CONTEST General rules 4. Vehicles MAY be of any car SIZE and WEIGHT subject to CONSTRAINTS that will be posted on WebCT. 5. Vehicles MAY use 3 TYPES OF PARTS : i. MAKE PARTS: Designed and fabricated at AUB workshops. ii. BUY PARTS: Acquired through buying off-the-shelf parts. iii. SCAVENGED PARTS: Acquired through scavenging old products. All of the above parts should be accompanied by complete documentation including but not limited to: manufacturing blueprints, purchasing invoice, and description.

CONTEST General rules 6. Vehicles MAY perform ONE MECHANICAL CHANGE and ONE PCB ADJUSTMENT between the different contest events. Mechanical changes can be applied to TIRES, GEAR SYSTEM, WHEEL SYSTEM, and introducing PRE-APPROVED WEIGHTS to the car.

CONTEST Disqualifying issues Any team may be disqualified from the contest if ONE of the following rules was violated during or prior to the contest day: 1.VIOLATING any of the CONTEST RULES . 2.CHARGING the BATTERY during the contest day.

CONTEST Disqualifying issues Any team may be disqualified from the contest if ONE of the following rules was violated during or prior to the contest day: 3.CHEATING during any of the contest events. Cheating includes interacting with the vehicle during the contest, tempering with the contest result, and SABOTAGING another team’s car. 4.FAILURE of submitting the car on the REQUIRED DEADLINE .
