To develop in the ability to design and optimize
air distribution systems for acceptable IAQ.
To introduce the student to the concept of the
whole building design
To acquire an overview of the knowledge and
skills necessary to design and operate healthier,
more comfortable, more productive, and less
environmentally destructive buildings.
To analyze the costs and benefits of incorporating
sustainable building measures.
