Anthropology 201 Fall 2010 Final Review The final will be given in our regular classroom on Thursday 12/16 from 1-3pm. The exam is worth 400 points and will cover all lectures, films, and readings in class. The exam will be divided approximately as follows: - ~70 objective questions (true/false, multiple choice, matching) worth approx 200 points (3 points each) - 6-7 short answers that will consist of about a paragraph (sometimes slightly more) worth approx 200 points (30 points each) o the more detail (dates, sites, etc.) that you can give in these answers the higher your score Approximately 60-65% of the exam will be on the last unit of class. To review the material from the first two units of class return to your review sheets and previous handouts. You will have the entire 2 hours to complete the exam. Please come to class promptly so that we can start in a timely fashion. This exam cannot be made up except for cases of family or medical emergencies (see syllabus for details). The daily handouts will serve as your study guides. You should be able to identify each of the terms on these handouts and discuss their significance in about 3-4 sentences (some will take more, some will take less). Go over each of the terms, charts, figures, etc. in your handouts by consulting your textbook thoroughly as well as going over your class notes. In addition to this, you should be able to answer the questions below in detail. These questions are meant as a guide. There
