(reliasts believe so) o Liberalism looks at actors below state level States are pluralistic actors. Views international system as being Anarchic o Cooperation is possible o Less dangerous o Interdependence Human Nature: o Roots in idealism o People are generally good. o Human nature is cooperative Classical liberals would agree with this. World view of liberals Focused on progress Emphasize ethical principle over the pursuit of power Absolute gains are important. o Both gain= absolute o Realist belive in relative gains= one party gains more than the other, or gaqins are disprop Liberal view of Nation-States. Not the only actors in system
