Dear Julie, Your story was a bit short and trivial seeming. The plot did not seem to be solid enough and the separate sections did not seem to serve much of a purpose. However, it was a sweet story to read. Breathing Games is a story about a young girl in second grade who has anxiety issues. She seems to have hearing problems and when her teacher says something she usually doesn't hear too well. Her parents take her to a hearing and speech counselor and she seems to have some issues before tests and always gets sick before them. She eventually agrees with her parents

The dialogue is pretty good, but the story did not do such a great job of keeping my attention. Maybe with an added twist or an unexpected character this story might have a little more creativity.
