Americans with Disabilities Act Intended to ensure people with disabilities  are not excluded from social life. Developed by the National Council on  Disability. Signed into law in 1990 by President  George H. W. Bush. Venue managers must provide  “reasonable accommodations” for  individuals with disabilities.

Americans with Disabilities Act Title II of ADA covers services, facilities  and programs operated by state, local,  and federal governments. Title III of ADA covers private  nongovernmental facilities and programs. Enforced by Department of Justice usually  in response to a complaint. Venue managers were not included for  input.
