Close all books. The only items allowed on the desk are a #2 pencil, your exam, the equation packet supplied by us, a calculator, and your scantron answer sheet. All other materials must be placed on the floor under your chair and backpacks, purses, etc., must be closed. 2. Print your name on this exam, fill in your SS#, and then sign this exam in the space provided: we will collect this first page when you turn in your scantron sheet. 3. Fill in the information requested on the scantron answer sheet and then bubble in the corresponding data: Last Name, First Initial, Middle Initial, SS#, and Exam Code. Do not fill in a Section number. 4. This exam consists of 20 questions. Answer the questions in Rows 1-20 of the scantron. There is no penalty for guessing, so you should attempt to answer all of the questions. Each correct answer is worth 5 points. Select the most correct answer. 5. Proctors will not answer questions involving the exam materials or questions on the exam: being able to understand the question is part of the exam. 6. Proctors may move students during the exam to lessen the possibility for cheating. If you are asked to move, it does not mean that you are cheating: you may be moved so that another student cannot copy from your exam. 7. Cheating is a serious matter and will be dealt with severely. By turning in the scantron answer sheet to this exam you are confirming that all work on this exam is your own and that you have not received help from any other source (i.e., cheated) in answering the questions on this exam. 8. You must use your time wisely. Do not spend too much time on any one problem. If you get stuck, leave the problem and then come back to it if you have time. 9. Bubble in your answers as you go. You will not be granted extra time to bubble in your scantron at the end of the exam. Your exam will not be graded if you do not immediately stop working on the exam when time is called. 10. To avoid disturbing students who are trying to finish up their exams, no one will be allowed to leave during the last 10 minutes of the exam. 11. The solutions will be posted to the class web page as soon as possible after all exams have been collected. 12. Exam grades will be posted to the class web page as soon as practical and possible.
