Project Proposal Team A has chosen to oversee building a house as a model home for a subdivision; the house should accommodate a family of four. Our company will be managing the entire project from start to completion. If the project of building the model home goes well the team will be hired to complete the entire line of model homes that will be designed and built-in the new subdivision. Our team is responsible for coordinating everything from hiring the architect to the landscaping company. Included is a presentation that will substantiate the information included in this proposal. Background and Statement of Need The organization in need the project is a land developer. This company is responsible for building shopping malls in several large cities. The company is also responsible for the homes designed and built in a local upscale neighborhood, which is a gated community. The company will be developing several subdivisions in Slidell, Louisiana, and the surrounding areas. Because of the population growth in St. Tammany Parish more subdivisions, strip malls, restaurants, and new schools are needed. The land developer has hired team A to construct a model home for the subdivision. The home should be built to accommodate a family of four with appropriate space in the house to include entertainment and large family gatherings. Developing more subdivision will accommodate population growth while making it easier for potential residents to relocate to the North Shore. The increase of new families adds money to the parish’s economy and equity of property in the parish. Designing and building new homes and neighborhoods will increase employment possibilities because of the new businesses needing employees to work. This will result in the

unemployment rate dropping and the decrease in unemployment claims filed in the area, again a boost to the parish’s economy. Statement of Need Team A l. Accommodate parish growth. II. New subdivisions are needed to accommodate the continual increase of population in St.
