Ethics - Organizations Codes of Ethics are written statements that outline the organization’s goals and responsibilities to the various entities it works with from their employees to their customers, etc. Reep, page 37 provides an excellent checklist as a resource

(Reep, pg 37) Are your facts accurate and up-to-date? Have you chosen angles or close-ups that do not obscure the overall subject of the photo or drawing? Have you used software, color, type, and icons to enhance but not distort information? Have you included examples or metaphors to aid the reader’s understanding? Have you organized material in a way to help readers use it? Have you included enough information to avoid harming the reader or damaging equipment? Have you warned readers of all possible hazards in specific terms? Have you presented comparable facts (e.g., sales figures) similarly to avoid manipulating the reader’s understanding? Have you differentiated clearly between fact and opinion?
