Today the population is 6 billion b- prior to agriculture, people lived in small bands as hunters. c- Hunter ecologies unable to support large populations-lower capacity Vocabulary a- carrying capacity-# of people able to be supported by an area of land b- increased technology- no matter how simplistic, leads to increased carrying capacity via making production more efficient c- domestication- process by time planting/breeding of species make cultivation dependant on human intervention. i.e. different veggies. i.e. spinach, broccoli same species, different qualities.
