Abstract Orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) is one of those digital communication system which makes use of efficient spectrum utilization, in which message signal is modulated with multiple carriers called as subcarriers which are orthogonal to each other. But the main disadvantage of this OFDM is high peak-to- average power ratio(PAPR). The proposed system makes use of a novel technique which adds a biased vector and window technique to reduce PAPR. The GOLAY coding technique is used in the proposed system
