They started of thinking of faster and better ways for simple machines. Steel was found and replaced iron which was being used in tools, bridges and railroads. The impact of new technology on transportation brought the first gasoline powered internal combustion engine which eventually led to Henry Ford made the car which changed transportation forever. Soon after that airplanes were getting made that were able to take passengers. Through technology communication was advancing the telegraphs were invented and they could send coded messages through electricity. Soon after that communication became even faster by the invention of the telephone and then the radio which is a cornerstone of today’s global communication network. Technology had a huge impact on transportation, communication, and industry. 8. What caused them to emerge was the greed for wanting more money. They started emerging to start a monopoly so they can raise prices and make more money.
