David Park English 11 Literary Analysis Irony 1. (A) It is an example of situational irony because it was very ironic she died of joy when she should have died because of sadness. (B) I think so because I was so surprised over this. 2. (A) It is an example of situational irony because I was surprised over how things turned out. (B) When she keeps whispering to herself free and when she is looking out the window and see the spring. 3. We were able to foreshadow what was going to happen but the character wasn’t able to. 4. When the doctors came they said she had died of heart disease is an example of situational irony. Someone was opening the front door with a latchkey example of verbal irony. 5. The moment of climax would be when Mrs. Mallard died. 6. What was ironic was that she died out of joy rather than sadness. Vocabulary 1. Foretell: to predict. 2. Foreman: before people. 3. Forestall: to act before hand.

Though “travel-stained,” Brently Mallard the person at the door was very much alive. One day after a long day of school I came back home to lay into my comfortable and soft bed. I, the hardworking student felt like I was a new man. My friend, Daniel tried to convince me to workout with him. But it was too long of a day so I decided to stay home and sleep.
