Final Exam Info./Study Guide What's the Format? The final has 140 total points and is broken into four parts: (21 points): 6 multiple choice questions and 8 true/false on code reading, conceptual issues, and evaluating Boolean expressions. Each question is worth 1.5 points. Completion Questions (39 points): Questions where you'll be given a definition and asked to supply the word, asked to identify some component of code using the proper technical terminology, asked to give the output of short lines of code or expressions, etc. There are 26 questions, each worth 1.5 points. These are the kind of questions where you should be able to answer several per minute if you've prepared well. Short Free Response Questions (30 points): Questions where you're asked to write a line or a few lines of code, explain something, illustrate some concept, write documentation, etc. There are 7 questions that are independent of one another. Major Programming Problem (50 points): A programming task broken into five parts. Expect the problem to do what a good final exam problem ought to do, given our course content: allow you to demonstrate how proficient you are at using each of the four control structures, arrays, and files. Specific questions/counts/points may vary on the conflict exam. What's the Content?
