Follow-Up Questions for the Introductory Material These questions are to help you study. They are neither collected nor graded. My suggestion: Pick two people in class you haven't met before, take these questions and your notes and some scratch paper, and go grab something to eat after class and discuss these questions as a group while you make a few new friends. 1. Differentiate between hardware and software. 2. Consider a video game system with a handheld controller. Is the controller software or hardware? If it's hardware, is it a processing device, storage device, input device, or output device? Why? If it's software, is it application software or system software? 3.
