1. Random Error or Random Sampling Error: chance variation (difference between the sample value and the true value of the population) MoE only applies to this type of error 2. Systematic Error (Bias)- a.k.a Non-Sampling Error: problems or flaws in the execution of the research design 2.1. Sample Design Error: results from an error in the sample design or sampling procedures 2.2.
