GHG emissions estimates in this report are based on the official U.S. Inventory of Greenhouse Gas Emissions and Sinks. In addition, this report highlights factors affecting emissions trends, projections, and emerging issues that may affect emissions in the future. It also includes information on the full life-cycle GHG emissions associated with transportation, GHG emissions from other mobile sources, and uncertainties associated with emissions estimates. ii Transportation GHG Emissions Report TABLE OF CONTENTS 1 INTRODUCTION.......................................................................................................... 1 1.1 Background....................................................................................................1 1.2 Report Organization.......................................................................................1 Report Organization....
