(2) The techniques and styles of artists usually differ in the art world, even if it is a small difference. Three art styles in particular are Neoclassicism, Impressionism, and Abstract Expressionism. An example of neoclassic art is The Emperor Napoleon in His Study at the Tuileries by Jacques-Louis David. An example of a piece of art done in the impressionistic style is The Luncheon of the Boating Party, by Pierre-Auguste Renoir. Finally, an example of an abstract expressionistic work of art is Autumn Rhythm (Number 30) by Jackson Pollock. Now I will compare and contrast each of the mentioned pieces of art. The Emperor Napoleon in His Study at the Tuileries by Jacques-Louis David was done using oil on canvas in 1812 and is now in the National Gallery of Art in Washington, DC. With the amount of detail Jacques-Louis David put into his work, one can see the arrogance Napoleon
