Religion 205 Journal Entry 4 2/6/11 Joshua M. Hill The visual that was used as a presentation, correlation tool during last Friday’s lecture was mind-blowing. Not only because of artistic ability by Northway, but also because of the questions it sparked about the relationship. This brings me to the general consensus that it is so difficult for a society who has been raised with different religious ideals to relate to and make sense of another contrasting religion. Granted, many of the same principles apply to many popular religions from a moral perspective, though the aspect of Brahman seen in Hinduism tells us that everything is divine and we are all related I believe. I know in our lecture period many people were so perplexed at this idea. I know I am still running the thought through my mind, but I always seem to come back to the ideas that I have been raised with and I see my classmates doing the same thing. In the Hindu religion, I have noticed that time seems to be repetitive and reincarnation is very popular. I don’t
