INSTRUCTOR NOTES: Welcome to Week Four! This week, we are discussing chapters 7 and 8.  A  couple of things to note: Chapter   7  explains   that   accounting  information   systems   can   either   be  manual or computerized.   However, most of you will never encounter a  manual accounting system with the prevalence of computers today.  This  chapter   also   introduces   subsidiary   ledgers   and   special   journals.  Illustrations 7-2 and 7-5 are great quick references for the uses of ledgers  and journals. On   page   339   of   your   text,   you   will   find   the   Comprehensive   Problem
