Residents were surveyed and asked how satisfied they were with the helpfulness of the Resident Assistant Staff in the area they live in. They had the option of choosing between very satisfied, satisfied, dissatisfied, very dissatisfied and no opinion. Twenty five students were surveyed. The results conclude that 7 (28%) are very satisfied, ten (40%) are satisfied, 3 (12%) are dissatisfied, 2 (8%) are very dissatisfied and 3 (12%) have no opinion. These results are discouraging, because they bring attention to the fact that though some students are happy with the staff, the number of people who are dissatisfied, very dissatisfied or have no opinion at all equal a greater number than the students that are very satisfied. This means that that some of the residents are not content with the Resident Assistant staff in the Maple area. Students were surveyed and asked how they would describe the role they see their Resident Assistant playing. They were asked if they saw their RA as a facilitator, authority figure, disciplinarian, friend or educator. These were their tallied results.
