Cardiorespiratory endurance  continuous  rhythmic, repetitive activities that increase oxygen  demand on heart, lungs and body systems Muscular endurance  – aerobic exercise that  effects slow-twitch muscle fibers; increase stamina  Muscle strength   – anaerobic exercise that effects  fast-twitch muscle fibers; increase in force production Maximum strength  –  the greatest force that is  possible in a single maximum contraction  Hypertrophy   – increase in volume of muscle fiber  Power  – conversion of muscle strength to speed
