Erik Sander – EGN6640 Page 1 Entrepreneurship for Engineers Financial Analysis Presentation Assignment Up to this point, your focus in this course has been on creating and selling your vision for your company. However, as we’ve learned, entrepreneurship is about vision – AND EXECUTION. Your value proposition presentation was your chance to define and present your vision. This assignment will be your chance to present your execution plan through the financials (revenues and expenses) that you research, project and present. While we’ll be discussing the Income Statement, Cash Flow, and Balance Sheet in this course, in this assignment you will only be presenting your company’s 5 year financial projections (pro- formas). You will have a total of 7 minutes to present your 5 year projected financials spreadsheet which is due to the instructor before the class.

Unformatted text preview: Each company will also need to submit to the instructor before the class your major assumptions in MS Word or PDF, but you will not present those. Any combination of company leadership may present, but remember that you have limited time and the only thing that you can show from the projector is your 5 year financial projection spreadsheet (no slides, assumptions, or anything else). I would expect that the CFO would at least have some part of the presentation. Experience shows that those companies that clearly explain their business model and revenue streams and clearly justify their overall expenses based on a believable plan for company growth do better than companies that focus on reading all of the numbers off the spreadsheet. You have to truly SELL your execution plan to investors....
