The five competitive forces determine industry profitability and competitiveness  within a market. The five competitive forces are bargaining power of customers,  threat of substitutions, bargaining power of suppliers, threat of new entrants and  rivalry. Their force may be either strong or weak depending on situation and needs to  be analy.  2) Read the book chapter (particularly the opening story) to get a perspective on the  business of FlexTime. Identify each force, whether they are strong/medium/weak  forces. Bargaining power of customers –weak, threat of substitutions medium, bargaining  power of suppliers – high, threat of new entrants- medium, rivalry - high 3) Try to outline your response.
