2 Q2. The answer:- Problem 16 0n page 113as given: Box plots. From the drawing a box plots, we need some statistics: the minimum value Q1 (the first quartile, the median, Q3 (the third quartile). From the plots I determined the following information:- A- Estimate the median = about 450. B- Estimate the first quartiles = 300. And third quartiles =700. C - Determine the interquartile range, the box plots shows that the middle 50 percent of the box between 300 and 700, so the distance between the ends of the box is 400 which is the interquartile range. The interquartile range is the distance between the fist and the third quartile. The interquartile range = third quartiles - first quartiles =700-300=400. D
