Unformatted text preview: Harsh Patel LAB #3 Gravity Force LAB June 19, 2010 Title: LAB #3 Gravity Force Lab Objective: The main purpose of this lab was to understand how the gravity force applies to different objects with different masses and how distance and mass affects the gravity force. Procedure: I first started by doing Question 1. I entered my mass and my laptops mass into the Phet program and documented the resultant data. I then started Question 2 by first assuming the earth and suns mass to a lower number so that I could fit it in the Phet Gravity force lab Program. I then entered the assumed data in the Phet program and gathered all the data. I then started Question 3 and designed the experiment that would help me find the equation for the relationship for mass and gravity. I then entered the designed experiment into the Phet gravity force lab program then, I gathered all the data from the program and made a graph with a trend line in excel. And, to make the graph more visual I multiplied all the Force data by 10^11 which line in excel....
