In this class room section of the course, you will learn about the mechanisms that lead to age-related changes in motor function. The laboratory section of this course will be held at University Place, a local Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC). The goal of the lab section will be to provide you with “hands on” experiences working with older adults in a CCRC setting. Course Evaluation Midterm 10 Final Test (cumulative) 20 Laboratory section 40 Reaction papers 10 Course participation 10 Lead discussion 10 Midterms / Exams: There will be no makeup exams without a valid doctor’s note. To be fair to all students we will not discuss possible exam questions during office hours. These questions should be addressed during lecture, so that all students receive the same information. We will not respond to email
